Yes it’s true! ‘Sex And The City’ (SATC) has come back after a decade. It is a comedy-drama series named, ‘And Just Like That’, which has started premiering on HBO Max Channel from December 9. The renowned three girl friends, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cinthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have also come back in the series. But according to few reports, Kim Cattrall, who played the role of Samantha Jones is not returning with the girls.
The stars have begun to promote the series from January this year on their respective social media. But recently Parker, who played the role of Carrie Bradshaw, posted a video clip on Instagram from the series and revealed the release date along with it. She wrote, “When you are on a broom the clock stops. A day late but happy to share. To our audience of so many years, we are looking forward to premiering first two episodes of @justlikethatmax December 9 on @HBOMax. Thank you for giving us the chance to be together again and for inspiring this next chapter of SATC.”
Cinthia Nixon, who played the role of Miranda Hobbs also posted a few still pictures from the series and wrote, “It’s #AndJustLikeThat episode drop day! Best time filming around the city and excited that you can finally see what we were up to.” Two days back, she also posted a picture of Willie Garson, who played the role of Standford Blatch in ‘SATC’ and has died on September 21 due to pancreatic cancer and wrote, “Willie’s sparkle and magic are very rare and when he is not there you really feel it. Also Kristin Davis, who played the role of Charlotte York posted a video clip from the series and wrote, “A little Charlotte sizzle reel.”
‘SATC’ is presented by Darren Star Productions and HBO Entertainment and is based on Candace Bushnell’s namesake book published on 1996. ‘SATC’ series was aired on HBO Channel from 1998 to 2004, followed by two movies, one released in 2008 and another in 2010.
