Lou Cutell, best known for his role as Dr. Howard Cooperman in the American sitcom ‘Seinfled’ (1989-1998), passed away on 21st November at the age of 91. The news was confirmed by his long-term friend Mark Furman. He posted few pictures of him with Lou Cutell and shared the dreadful news on Facebook. He wrote, “After 91 years, and a great life, my friend Lou Cutell went home. A film, theater and character actor. Big Larry in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Ass Man in Seinfeld, Abe in Grey’s Anatomy S12,E4. He took me to Lucille Ball’s house in 1986. Rest in peace Lou.”
Lou Cutell was a veteran actor, who had a career spanned over several decades in Hollywood. He started his career in theatres as he played the role of William Berry in ‘The Young Abe Lincoln’ in 1961. Then he first appeared on TV in ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show’ in 1961 and after that he appeared in a handful of series such as ‘My Three sons’ (1960-1972), ‘The Wild Wild West’ (1965-1969), ‘Newhart’ (1982-1990), ‘The Golden Girls’ (1985-1992) and many more.
Lou had also done a number of films in his career such as ‘Frankestein Meets The Space Monster’ (1965), ‘Young Frankenstein’ (1974), ‘Rihnoceros’ (1974), ‘The World’s Greatest Lover’ (1977), ‘Maxie’ (1985), ‘Legal Eagles’ (1986), ‘Frankestein General Hospital’ (1988), ‘The Odd Couple 2’ (1998) and many other famous films. He had done his last work in the American surgical drama series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’s (2005) 2015’s episode.
