‘Badhaai Do’ is an upcoming family drama directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles and it is produced by Junglee Pictures. ‘Badhaai Do’ is a sequel of the 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho’, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles and that was also produced by Junglee Pictures.
‘Badhaai Ho’ was released on a festival occasion, Dussehra three years ago and now, Rajkummar Rao has announced today on his social media that ‘Badhaai Do’ is also going to release in theatres on Republic Day weekend in 2022. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are collaborating for the first time in ‘Badhaai Do’.
Rajkummar Rao has posted a picture with the director Harshavardhan Kulkarni and Bhumi Pednekar on his Instagram and wrote, “Theatre ready…Aap ready…Toh hum bhi ready…Republic Day weekend 2022 ko aa rahe hain hum apse milne in cinemas to celebrate…So save the data!! And congratulations nahi #BadhaaiDo.”
