The ‘Baywatch’ (1989-2001) famed actress Pamela Anderson is now all set to release her Netflix docu-series ‘Pamela, A Love Story’ on January 31, 2023. Not only that, Anderson’s much awaited memoir ‘Love, Pamela’ is also going to published on the same day. Hence, it’s quite a big day for the actress.
The duco-series will be showcasing the audiences about Anderson’s turbulent personal life. Pamela will be seen narrating the dark phases of her life, from her childhood trauma to the abuse she faced with the leaked sex tape.
Pamela Anderson is the first celebrity, who’s sex tape got leaked and went viral. The VHS tape showed Pamela and her ex-husband Tommy Lee were on honeymoon on a yacht. Back then, Pamela faced a rollercoaster of media attacks along with mental harrasment.
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee got married in 1995 and were divorced in 1998. The duo has two sons, Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger Lee. In this docu-series, Pamela has finally opened up about her struggles she faced and how it also affected her career.
Recently in an interview, Anderson shared, “After that, it just felt like that solidified the cartoon image, too. You become a caricature. I think that was the deterioration of whatever image I had. I knew at that point that my career was over.”
According to Anderson, the sex tape was stolen by some unknown person along with Tommy Lee’s gun safe, where the musician had his private weapons and mementos. Anderson further continued, “One day, we got something in the mail. It was wrapped in brown paper. Tommy opened it. It was a VHS tape. Tommy told me to go upstairs, and he watched it. I didn’t watch it, I have never watched it. Later, he came upstairs and said, ‘This is going to be disturbing. This is a VHS tape of us having sex’.”
