Dharma Productions recently released behind-the-scenes photos from all the six films that have been directed by Karan Johar. It led netizens to speculate that that the production house is all set to unveil the teaser or poster of Karan’s upcoming film, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ on May 25, which is also the day when the director celebrates his 51st birthday. The family romantic drama stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles and it marks Karan Johar’s comeback as a director after seven years.
As per reports, the teaser of the film has been censored with a runtime of one minute and twenty-nine seconds. The reports claim that since the makers are looking for a huge opening, they intend to generate immense buzz among the audiences for the film. Hence, a two-month marketing campaign has been planned which will kick off with the teaser launch on May 25.
‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is a love story cum family drama. Apart from Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, it also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Bharti Singh, Harsh Limbachiyaa, Arijit Taneja, Chunni Ganguly, Amrita Puri and Ananya Panday appear in special appearances. The soundtrack of the film is composed by Pritam.
‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is scheduled to release in theatres on July 28, 2023.
