Yesterday, during the Marvel Studios’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the Marvel chief, Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 will end and also revealed the Phase 5 and Phase 6’s upcoming ventures along with the dates.
Feige initiated the panel talking about the Phase 4’s plans with ‘WandaVision’ series and said it would come to an end this year with ‘She-Hulk’ and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. He has also continued revealing about their future plans like Phase 5 and Phase 6, which have stretched till 2025 and also introduced various new upcoming superhero characters of Marvel.
According to Feige’s statement, Phase 5 includes ‘She-Hulk’ (August 17, 2022), ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ (November 11, 2022), ‘Ant-Man And the Wasp: Quantumania’ (February 17, 2023), ‘Secret Invasion’ (spring 2023, Disney+), ‘What If Season 2’ (early 2023, Disney+), ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ (May 5, 2023), ‘Echo’ (summer 2023, Disney+), ‘The Marvels’ (July 28, 2023), Loki Season 2’ (summer 2023, Disney+), ‘Blade’ (November 3, 2023), ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ (spring 2024, Disney+), ‘Captain America: New World Order’ (May 3, 2024), ‘Thunderbolts’ (July 26, 2024), ‘Ironheart’ (fall 2023, Disney+) and ‘Agatha: Coven Of Chaos’ (Winter 2023, Disney+).
Phase 6 includes ‘Fantastic Four’ (November 8, 2024), ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ (May 2, 2025), ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ (November 7, 2025) till now.
At Comic-Con panel, Kevin Feige has also announced that this time the director duo, Russo Brothers are not going to helm neither ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ nor ‘Avengers: Secret War’ and said, “They’re not connected to it. They have been very direct about that. We love them, they love us. We want to find something to do together and it’s not these.”
Russo Brothers (Joe and Anthony Russo) had previously delivered two of the top five all-time highest grossing Marvel movies such as ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (2018) and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019).
