After almost five years, Anushka Sharma is finally back as an actress with the sports biopic, ‘Chakda Xpress’. The film is based on the life of Indian Woman Cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Although Anushka was last seen in ‘Zero’ (2018), she remained in the news because of the ventures she backed as a producer through her production house Clean Slate Filmz such as ‘NH10’ (2015), ‘Pari’ (2018), ‘Paatal Lok’ (2020) and ‘Bulbbul’ (2020).
Ever since the film went on floors, several pictures of Anushka as Jhulan Goswami have made rounds on social media. Now finally the actress announced the wrap up of ‘Chakda Xpress’ yesterday.
The whole cast and crew came together while cutting the cake to celebrate the wrap. Jhulan Goswami was also invited to the wrap up party and she also gave the final clap to bring an official end to the shoot. Anushka and other cast members were seen wearing the Indian jersey and making merry together.
‘Chakda Xpress’, directed by Prosit Roy and backed by Clean Slate Filmz, starring Anushka Sharma as Jhulan Goswami, is slated to release on Netflix.
