Ever since the ongoing writers’ strike began, it’s been three months, Hollywood has come to a halt. No events, no shooting, no premieres, no promotions are happening currently. Several films have also postponed their premieres in film festivals as well.

However, a few days back we got to know that Taylor Swift has got the permission to shoot and promote her upcoming film ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ from American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Now it’s been reported that Zac Efron has also received the consent to promote his upcoming film ‘The Iron Claw’ from American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

The sports-drama is based on the true story of the Von Erich family, who became a dynasty of professional wrestlers and made history, but a series of tragic events tests their strength and spirit.

‘The Iron Claw’ also stars Jeremy Allen White, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Lily James, Harris Dickinson, Holt MacCallany and Aaron Dean Eisenberg.

Efron as Kevin and White as Kerry Von Erich, are two brothers, who were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for their wrestling prowess in the ’80s and ’90s. The sudden death of the two brothers shook the world and left their family devastated.

Directed by Sean Durkin, ‘The Iron Claw’ will be released on December 22, 2023.
