Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar, who is the director of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019), have surprised their fans when they had announced their marriage in June this year. They announced the news on social media that they had tied the knot in Yami’s home town Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
In a recent interview, Yami Gautam said that their wedding was an impromptu affair. Yami and Aditya had decided to get engaged only this year, but her grandmother suggested them to get married instead. She said, “We were just supposed to get engaged and then were going to Let time take its due course, but my ‘nani’ (grandmother) was like listen, this engagement and all is not a part of our culture, so how about getting married? And then Aditya asked me ‘Are you ready? Shall we?’ I don’t know what it means, honestly I’m still not able to absorb the feeling of being married. I feel the same, maybe happier”.
However, Yami is currently busy with several projects like Tushar Jalota’s ‘Dasvi’, Pawan Kirpalani’s ‘Bhoot Police’, Behzad Khambata’s ‘A Thursday’ and she she is currently shooting for Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s ‘Lost’.
