Kareena Kapoor Khan has been there in the industry since many years. Having worked in the industry as an A-lister actress for such a long time, it is natural that she has had an opportunity to work with all the three Khans of Bollywood and if we may a fourth one for our dear ‘Bebo’ as Kareena is affectionately called, even her husband, Saif Ali Khan.
There are actresses who crave to work with the mighty Khans and then there’s Kareena who is in a league of her own, no less a superstar than the Khans.
Kareena has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Ra.One’ (2011), and with Aamir Khan in ‘3 Idiots’ (2009) and with Salman Khan in ‘Bodyguard’ (2011). Apart from ‘Bodyguard’, Kareena has also danced her heart out on a special dance number called “Fevicol” from Salman Khan’s superhit movie, ‘Dabangg 2’ (2012).
So having worked with all the three Khans including her husband Saif Ali Khan in the thriller, ‘Tashan’ (2008), Kareena knows them in and out and about how it is working with each and every one of them individually.
So when one gets to ask Kareena that who is the biggest Khan according to her, you might either expect a diplomatic reply from her end or her totally avoiding the question.
But Kareena totally surprises everyone here it seems. When IANS news agency interacted with Kareena and asked her about who is the biggest Khan according to her, Kareena had an unusual yet totally deserving name to take. Yes that’s right and the name is none other than that of Irrfan Khan.
So this is what Kareena basically has to say when asked about the biggest Khan in Bollywood, “Oh God, I am super excited for this film. I have worked with all the Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir and Saif. But for me, it is an honour and privilege to work with Irrfan Khan. He is the pioneer, one of the finest actors among all the Khans if I may say, and he is the biggest Khan for me. So, I had to tick that box of acting with Irrfan Khan. I know it is a small role but that does not matter. I know I am too excited, and I am really looking forward to this one.”
Kareena is really excited to work with Irrfan Khan in the sequel of ‘Hindi Medium’ titled, ‘Angrezi Medium’. She is all set to begin shooting for the film from May 15 onwards.
The movie is going to be a big one for sure. Not because it marks the first ever collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Irrfan Khan but it also marks the comback film of both of them as both of them have been away from the silver screen due to their own reasons. The film marks Irrfan’s comeback after having battled neuroendocrine tumor which is a rare type of cancer.
So with so many interesting factors coming into play for this one, fans surely cannot wait for this one.
