‘Fast X’, fronted by Vin Diesel, is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and it seems like the audiences are excited to check out the tenth edition of the franchise. The last film in the franchise, ‘Fast And Furious 9′ (2021), was affected by the post-Covid challenges and delayed release in many parts of the world, including India. But looking at the normalcy in box office at present, the expectations are big from ‘Fast X’. The film’s trailer and publicity materials have been favourably welcomed resulting in good advance sales worldwide.
Six days before its premiere, it has sold about 18,000 tickets on the first day across India’s three national chains, that is, Inox, PVR and Cinepolis. Interestingly, the advance bookings for day 2 are greater than day 1, indicating that the film will have strong hold for its first 2 days, irrespective of the critical reception and word of mouth. The total number of tickets sold in the three national chains for the four-day weekend can reach 60,000.
