Vicky Kaushal and Nora Fatehi had both started their respective careers around the same time in 2014-15. But call it a coincidence or whatever, the turning point for both their careers was in 2018.
While Vicky came up with two top class performances in 2018, starting with ‘Sanju’ (2018) which is a biopic on the life of actor, Sanjay Dutt alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, he followed it up with his biggest solo hit as a ‘lead’ till now with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2018) which minted riches like a mega ‘blockbuster’. It is a film based on the ‘Uri Attacks’ conducted by Pakistani terrorists and how they were gunned down bravely by the Indian Army.
Nora, on the other hand despite making her debut in 2014, made a name for herself after performing in the superhit dance number, “Dilbar” from John Abraham’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ (2018). She followed it up with another hit dance number from Rajkummar Rao’s superhit, ‘Stree’ (2018).
Things only started to get bigger for Nora as she eventually made it as a lead in Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ (2019) alongside Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sunil Grover. Meanwhile, Vicky too is packed up with films and the next one that he is gearing up is titled ‘Bhoot’.
However, what holds value is the fact that both Nora and Vicky are getting cast together. Not for a film though but for a music video.
What’s even more interesting is the fact that neither of them are actually ‘dancing’ in the music video, especially Nora who is known to be featured in projects for her impeccable dancing skills. The couple is playing husband and wife in the video and with a star cast featuring two new sensations, it has all the makings of a ‘superhit’ music video.
Nora’s official statement on the music video reads,
“The song came to me after Dilbar released last year and the makers had told me that they were looking for a guy to cast opposite me. The song is very different from what I have done before. It is not a dance number but a very performance-oriented song revolving around a married couple and what happens between them. I won’t be dancing in this one.”
Although no details have been given so far regarding the shooting schedule of the ‘music video’ or the release time of it, it’s expected to come out after September 2019.
On the work front, Nora will next be seen in John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ which is slated to release on 15 August, 2019.
