Not long ago, the makers have dropped the first official poster of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic venture, ‘Oppenheimer’, which made fans want to know more. Now, Universal Pictures today have released a brief teaser trailer of the film titled as ‘Oppenheimer Announcement’.
At the very beginning of the teaser, in the background, we can hear Oppenheimer’s wife, Katherine (Emily Blunt) saying, “The world is changing, reforming. This is your moment.”
In the few seconds long video, playing on a loop, we can see Atom Bomb explosions along with black and white footages of Cillian Murphy, who is portraying the titular role of J. Robert Oppenheimer, adjusting his hat, standing in front of a window and later walking down a hallway. We can also hear someone is saying in the background, “You gave them the power to destroy themselves and made him the most important man that ever lived.”
The film ‘Oppenheimer’ is a biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is known as Father of the Atomic Bomb for his role in the Manhattan Project during the World War 2, that developed the first nuclear weapon. Oppenheimer was among those, who observed the Trinity test in New Mexico, where the first atomic bomb was successfully detonated on July 16, 1945.
Apart from Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt, ‘Oppenheimer’ has also got a start-studded ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Jack Quaid, Matt Damon and Josh Hartnett and is all set to release on July 21, 2023.
