‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ which is the sequel of the DC movie ‘Shazam’ (2019) has wrapped up its shooting recently. The role of Billy Batson which is played by Asher Angel in the movie has shared a picture on his Instagram with Zachary Levi.
He wrote in the caption, “That’s a wrap. @shazammovie #shazamfuryofthegods”
Billy Batson is the kid who becomes the Shazam superhero by delivering the word “Shazam!”. Levi essays the adult superhero form.
‘Fury of the Gods’ is directed by David F Sandberg and written by Henry Gayden. The movie also stars, Grace Fulton, Rachel Zegler, Ross Butler, Jack Dylan Grazer, Meagan Good, Adam Broddy and many others.
The sequel’s title was revealed last year (2020) at the DC FanDome event and a small 15 second teaser was put out by Sandberg back in June.
‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ will release in theaters on June 2, 2023.
