The season one of Anil Kapoor’s ‘The Night Manager’ (2023) received critical acclaim and was widely successful. Anil Kapoor stole the show with his dialogues and levelled up the expectations of an antagonist.
After the open end in the last episodes, the anticipation for the next season was higher than ever. While the season two was already in the making, Anil Kapoor has officially announced the release date and season two of the super hit series on social media.
While unveiling his first look from Season 2, Kapoor wrote on Instagram, “The king has returned to his Lanka, and he ain’t ready to lose. The saga continues! #HotstarSpecials #TheNightManager Part 2 streaming 30th June only on @disneyplushotstar.”
On the professional front, he set sky high standards with his character Shelly Rungta in ‘The Night Manager’, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, followed by Jeremy Renner’s ‘Rennervations’ (2023). He also has ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, followed by ‘Subedar’ and Hindi adaptation of Malayalam hit ‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25’ (2019).
