While making music videos for promotional purposes for films is quite common, it is very rare to see the makers of a television show adopting a similar strategy for their show. But, Siddharth Malhotra has done exactly the same for his upcoming show ‘Haasil’, which has been produced by his company Alchemy Films. ‘Haasil’ is touted to be the most ambitious show rolled out by the company and Malhotra, who has directed the Kajol-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘We Are Family’ and Yash Raj Films’ ‘Hichki’ that releases next year, seems to be leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the show makes some good noise before it premieres on Sony Entertainment Television.
What also makes the show special is its cast. Apart from starring television bigwigs like Vatsal Seth and Nikita Dutta, it also marks the television debut of Zayed Khan. Zayed, who had gone missing from the big screen for some time now, plays one of the three central characters in this romantic thriller. The music video has been sung and composed by Shaan and shot across some pristine locations in Mauritius. What is interesting is the fact that the three lead actors do not share a frame together and are seen in isolated shots. The promos released earlier hinted at a conflict between Aanchal (Nikita Dutta) and the two brothers Ranvir and Kabir played by Zayed Khan and Vatsal Seth respectively.
The music video has set the tone for the show and has made one look forward to a gripping narrative mounted on a huge scale on 7 November, 2017, the day the show is scheduled for a premiere on Sony Entertainment Television.
