‘Kick’ (2014), starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is one of the biggest blockbusters of Salman and also one of his most loved films. Fans and audiences have been waiting for an update on the film’s sequel since its initial release. Recently, a story recently surfaced that ‘Big Boss 13’ (2019) fame Asim Riaz has been roped in for the sequel. Just as the hype was building, ‘Kick 2’ makers crushed the allegations.
A recent article in the Free Press Journal stated, “The film will release in 2024 and an official announcement about Asim’s role in the film will be made soon.”
However, the makers issued a clarification on this aspect. Taking to Twitter, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s official page cleared the rumour by posting, “We are working on our script for #Kick2 and this news is NOT TRUE! We request all the media houses to please clarify the news with us before printing.”

Talking about Salman Khan, who was last seen in the 2023 Eid release ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, will next be seen in the spy thriller ‘Tiger 3’ alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Yash Raj Films has bankrolled ‘Tiger 3’ while it is directed by Maneesh Sharma. It will release in theatres on Diwali 2023.
