After making huge mark with the musical biopic ‘Elvis’ (2022), Austin Butler is now all set to show us his violent side with the action drama ‘The Bikeriders’. The interesting part is, Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer have also joined hands with Butler to present a thrilling fictional story about two bikers.
Today 20th Century Studios has finally dropped the trailer. Inspired by Danny Lyon’s book of photography, ‘The Bikeriders’ follows the lives of a fictional Midwestern bikers’ club members in Chicago in the ’60s. While Comer as Kathy, plays a strong-willed member, who is married to a reckless biker, Benny (Butler), Hardy as Johnny plays the founder of the club. The trailer shows that Kathy and Benny fall in love at a very young age and now Kathy unintentionally gets involved into Benny’s violence and consequences.
The trailer reveals that the club gets involved into a criminal activity. This film brings out a new avatar of the ‘Killing Eve’ actress, with a complete Midwestern accent. The film also stars Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook and Norman Reedus in pivotal roles.
Directed by Jeff Nicholes, starring Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy in the leads, ‘The Bikeriders’ to hit the theatres in December 1, 2023.
