The anticipation for this Netflix show looms thick in the air and the countdown to catch Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor in action on 6th May has already begun. Today, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor launched the motion trailer of this intriguing noir thriller to much fanfare.
Speaking about the trailer launch of ‘Thar’, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor said, “I am stoked that the trailer of ‘Thar’ has already created so much intrigue in the audience. We have all put in a lot of effort into this film to make it look a certain way and mount it on a grand scale. I hope the film is received with just as much love as we have given it.”
There are several reasons to catch this high-octane film. ‘Thar’ marks not only Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor’s first step into the industry as a producer, but is also the directorial debut of Raj Singh Chaudhary. And of course, fans are in for a treat as they get to watch the father-son duo, Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor in action on screen. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Satish Kaushik.
Inspired by the western noir genre, ‘Thar’ is set in the eighties and its story revolves around the mysterious Siddharth, played by Harsh Varrdhan. Moving to Pushkar for a job, Siddharth embarks on a journey to avenge his past. Will he succeed or does Pushkar have something else in store for him?
