On Saturday morning, actor Vidyut Jammwal posted the teaser for the movie ’IB 71’ on his social media accounts. Jammwal will begin his career as a producer with this movie, which will also feature him as an actor and will be the first film under his company, Action Hero Films. The movie, which centres on the conflict between India and Pakistan, is said to have been influenced by the actual incidents that occurred in 1971.
The film was announced in June 2021 with National Award-winning director Sankalp Reddy joining the film as director. Sankalp previously directed Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon and Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘The Ghazi Attack’ (2017).
By sharing the teaser on his Twitter, the actor wrote, “2 enemy nations, 1 top secret mission, and a victorious covert operation! #IB71, India’s most confidential story is coming to your theatres on May 12. #IB71Teaser is OUT NOW!”

‘IB 71’ will be released in theatres on May 12 and also stars Anupam Kher, Vishal Jethwa and Dalip Tahil in significant parts.
