‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ (2022) director, Taika Waititi and popstar, Rita Ora secretly took their relationship to next level, after dating for about a year and a half now, since April, 2021. Yes! They finally got married.
As reported by The Sun, the director-singer duo had an intimate ceremony in London on August 9. The two were first spotted romantically, while getting cosy at a music concert of Rita Ora in May, 2021. From then, fans started assuming something fishy between them and had flooded social media with rumours. Eventually, the couple officially declared the rumour true at the red carpet premiere of ‘The Suicide Squad’ (2021).
According to The Sun, “It was a really intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there. Their nearest and dearest can see how madly in love they are. Despite living in the spotlight, Rita is determined to keep the relationship as private as possible and didn’t want to make a big song and dance about the wedding.” It’s also revealed that the singer is changing her name proudly into Mrs. Rita Ora-Waititi.
Although, they started dating from 2021, the director-singer duo were very close friends from the past 4 years and consider themselves as ‘best friends’. On Valentine’s Day this year, Rita had posted few cosy snaps with Waititi and wrote, “Us 4 years ago. To now. thanks for being cool. And entertaining me forevs..Happy Valentine’s Day bestie.”
