Sylvester Stallone, who is known as one of the top most action-stars all over the world, rose to fame with the famous sports-drama, ‘Rocky’ (1976). In this classic film, he played the lead role of a boxer named Rocky Balboa, who struggles in his life and later gets a chance to fight heavyweight Champion Apollo Creed.
This Sunday, July 17, the 76-year-old actor has openly slammed the ‘Rocky’ producer, Irwin Winkler on Instagram and called him out for constantly denying Stallone to make further three franchises of the film for the past 5 decades. Stallone trashed Irwin by posting a picture of his son, David Winkler’s new book on Instagram.
In the post, Stallone wrote, “You know I love reading and I’ve read thousands of books but I have to say THIS one is by far the worst! If you ever run out of toilet paper PLEASE by this one you won’t be disappointed. It’s very absorbent… This unbearable worthless dreck was written by the painfully untalented David Winkler who is the son of the remarkably untalented and parasitical producer of ‘Rocky’ and ‘Creed’.”
While remembering the late producer Robert Chartoff, Sylvester also mentioned, “Even though I barely ever saw him around in all those years, the one and only Irwin Winkler and wife Margot. I really respected and LOVED his wonderful partner ROBERT CHARTOFF Who had real talent and SOUL, but unfortunately passed away much too soon……. If it wasn’t for Winkler there would’ve been at least another three ‘Rocky’s, that would’ve been wonderful.”
“Frankly that crew are the worst unhunman beings I’ve ever met in the movie industry. I will forever love the loyal fans and keep punching.!!! REMEMBER IT FEELS GOOD TO CLEAR YOUR HEART”, the veteran actor further concluded in the post.
The film ‘Rocky’ was written and starred by Sylvester Stallone, which won several Oscar nominations for Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay categories along with 49th Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Editing Awards.
