One of the most popular sci-fi series on Netflix, ‘Stranger Things’ has recently released its fourth season, after a long three years of break, since the third season was released in 2019. The first volume of the fourth season has released on May 27 and the second volume will be released on July 1, 2022. The story of the series is about a group of young friends in ‘80s Indiana, who witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.
Now, according to Variety website, the fourth season’s volume one has broken all its previous records of viewership on Netflix and became the biggest premiere weekend of an English series after the second season of ‘Bridgerton’, which was released on March 25. According to Netflix’s top ten rankings, the fourth season of the sci-fi hit 287 million hours of views, till May 30 and marked the no.1 position.
‘Bridgerton Season 2’ got a viewership of 193 million hours over its debut weekend, on March 21 to 27 and grabbed the no.1 position. Now, ‘Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1’ holds the no.1 position as it broke all its previous records by fifty percent already.
It’s also been reported that, the fifth part of ‘Stranger Things’ has already been renewed and it will be the final season of the sci-fi.
