The famous ‘Star Trek’ (1966-1969) series leading star William Shatner has turned 91 years old today, March 22. Born in Montréal, Canada, Shatner has got a career spanning over seven decades in the entertainment industry. He is best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk.
Shatner has appeared in almost all the episodes of ‘Star Trek’ series and also the first seven movies. William has also written a book of his experiences working in the series named, TekWar in 1989.
Apart from ‘Star Trek’, Shatner has also given several other remarkable movies and series like ‘The Twilight Zone’ (1959-1964), ‘T.J. Hooker’ (1982-1986), ‘Rescue 911’ (1989-1996), ‘Osmosis Jones’ (2001) and many more.
The ‘Star Trek’ star last year, on the occasion of his 90th birthday announced his teaming up with StoryFile, a Los Angeles based tech company, to create an interactive AI-powered video of him in order to preserve his memory for the future generations.
