Marvel studios’ ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has been released on December 16 and it’s been only 10 days, the film has become the highest grossing film in this whole pandemic era since 2020. The film has earned $1.05 billion at the global box office. The last Hollywood movie to cross billion dollar was ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’, which released in 2019.
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is currently beating out with ‘The Battle Of Lake Changjin’, a Chinese movie, which released on November 19 and has already earned $904 million worldwide. Before ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, Metro Goldwyn-Mayer’s James Bond last series, ‘No Time To Die’, which released on September 30 had collected $774 million and Marvel Studios’ ‘Shang-Chi And The Legends Of The Ten Rings’, which released on September 2, collected $400 million worldwide in this ongoing pandemic.
Domestically ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has collected total $463 million across North America and $587 million internationally till now after the Christmas weekend. ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is Tom Holland’s first triology as the other Spider-Man stars, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield teamed up with him along with the past villains such as Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina) and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church).
In India, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has crossed Rs 223 crore ($29 million) at the box office. Now, India has become the eight highest movie market for the film.
