The whole world is celebrating the women all around them on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8. While some are recognizing the women in their lives, some are paying respect to the ones who have brought about a change in their fields of work. Everyone has their way of paying homage to the goddess within each women. And actress Sonnalli Seygall has also used the day to appreciate some strong and important women, who might usually don’t get the credit that they deserve.
Taking to Instagram, Sonnalli shared a series of pictures from her travels over the years, which included the special ladies that she came across while on those trips, who made her outings all the more beautiful. From the ladies in the North-East, who taught her how to pick tea leaves, to a tea vendor on the mountains, some tribal women and women farmers, Sonnalli paid a beautiful tribute to all of them and their work through her social media.
She wrote a heartfelt note saying, “Dedicating this women’s day to all these amazing, hard-working & beautiful women I’ve been fortunate to meet on my travel journeys over the years. Each and every one of them has a beautiful story behind them, empowering them. More power to them and all the women in this world who are surviving & thriving. Happy Women’s Day ladies!”
