Singer composer Sonnal Pradhaan has flaunted her talent in songs like Sunny Deol’s ‘Blank’, director Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Maaya 2’ and ‘Zakhmi’ and music composer Jeet Ganguly’s “Neendein” amongst others. Now, the stylist-singer-composer is all set to star in another blockbuster music video which is titled “Yaad Baarish Mein” with TV actor Kanwar Dhillon. It is penned by Annu and composed by Sonnal.
The interesting part is that its marks Kanwar’s debut into the music world. It is reported that the audience will witness a completely different side of Sonnal. According to sources, “Sonnal and Kanwar make for a refreshing pair and their chemistry elevates the romantic ballad to a new level altogether. It’s a romantic song and it gave Sonnal a chance to do what she loves the most — sing! The song was filmed in Mumbai. Shooting this video was a totally different experience due to the pandemic. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic the team took all the necessary precautions, including wearing masks. There was minimal crew and they followed very strict protocols.”
The singer-composer stated, “It being my first music video as an actor, I was a little nervous before the shoot. But, the director Sachin (Gupta) sir and the co-actor Kanwar Dhillon were very supportive throughout the shoot, because of which I could feel comfortable and I have tried my best to give my best shot. It was a memorable experience for me!”
