After blowing our minds and hearts in ‘Shershaah’ (2021) as Captain Vikram Batra, Sidharth Malhotra seems to have fallen in love with the action genre. Though he started his journey with a romantic character in ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012) and has played such characters in several films like ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014), ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016), ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ (2016), ‘Jabariya Jodi’ (2019), Sidharth’s action hero characters haven’t disappoint us to be honest.
Whether in ‘Ek Villain’ (2014), ‘Brothers’ (2015), ‘A Gentleman’ (2017) or in ‘Marjaavaan’ (2019), Sidharth has always kept us glued with his striking action avatars.
His last film ‘Thank God’ (2022) didn’t work well at the box office, but now it’s been reported that he has returned to the action genre with ‘Yodha’.
Sidharth has finally revealed that ‘Yodha’ is coming to thrill us in cinemas on July 7, 2023. He dropped the first motion poster of the film and wrote, “Packed with action, thrill & big screen entertainment – our #Yodha is landing in cinemas near you, so fasthen your belts! YODHA IN CINEMAS 7TH JULY, 2023.”
Not only that, ‘Yodha’ is also the first film that features Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani together. Disha is also widely known for featuring in action films like ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018), ‘Malang’ (2020), ‘Radhe’ (2021) and ‘Ek Villain Returns’ (2022).
‘Yodha’, directed by Sagar Amber and Pushkar Ojha, produced by Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan, story, screenplay and dialogues written by Muhammad Asif Ali and starring Raashii Khanna, the film is all set to release on July 7, 2023.
