Shraddha Kapoor gets her Hero No. 8 in her eighth film, Rock On 2

She started her career in 2010 with ‘Teen Patti’ and followed it up with a lesser known film in 2011 (Luv Ka The End), but her real career kick-started in 2013 once ‘Aashiqui 2’ became an anthem of the nation. Ever since then, Shraddha Kapoor has delivered many hits (Ek Villain, ABCD 2 and Baaghi] and thankfully hasn’t seen a single flop.

Another interesting factor about Shraddha and her Bollywood career is the fact that in her eight films that have released in last six years, she has always seen a new leading man opposite her. This is what makes ‘Rock On 2’ special since this time around, she is paired with a new leading man, Farhan Akhtar.

One waits to see if there is a romantic angle per se between Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar since the latter is married to Prachi Desai in the film. Also, the promos give an impression of a band leader (played by Farhan) bringing a new member (Shraddha) into the fold and encouraging her to deliver her best on stage.

In that sense, even ‘Luv Ka The End’ didn’t have a romantic pairing between Shraddha and Taaha Shah since she wanted to take revenge on the latter for betraying her.

Nonetheless, one looks forward to the kind of chemistry that Shraddha Kapoor brings to fore with Farhan Akhtar once the duo is seen on screen on 11th November, the day this Eros and Excel film releases all over.
