T-Series and Reliance Entertainment, along with Match Cut Productions, have dropped the trailer of the Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’. The trailer is a dark comedy and an ode to the existing corruption in our country where the poor can’t even access the government schemes launched for them.
Sayani Gupta is also a part of this dark satire and delivers a brilliant performance as usual in the little screen time of the trailer. We have seen tiger related movies such as ‘Sherni’ (2021) but this movie is different and is a satire to our societal structure.
Helmed by SrijitMukherji, the movie is inspired by true events and depicts the sad aftereffects of urbanization, man-animal conflicts and corruption. Neeraj Kabi is seen in a whole new look in the trailer.
The movie is all set to appear on the big screen from June 24.
