Bollywood singer and actor Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife, Shalini Talwar has filed a case of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment and financial fraud against him. She has filed a plea in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act’. The case was registered today, August 3, before Ms Tania Singh Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of the Tis Hazari Court.
Advocate Sandeep Kapur, Apoorva Pandey and GG Kashyap, from law firm Karanjawala & Co, turned up representing Honey Singh’s wife, Shalini Talwar. The Court has issued a notice to Honey Singh to file his reply by August 28.
In the complaint, Shalini not only mentioned Honey Singh but also mentioned his parents. The lengthy complaint listed in detail the incidents since their marriage when the singer allegedly physically and mentally abused her. It also documented their relationship that started in 2001 and their marriage in 2011 after 10 years of dating.
Honey Singh (Hirdesh Singh) introduced his wife for the first time on a reality show called ‘Rawstar’, shocking everyone present. He became a person of fame when his song “Angrezi Beat” from ‘Cocktail’ (2012) started buzzing in every party possible. He is basically known for his party numbers.
