Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshaah of Bollywood, has had an outstanding year so far. Both of his films ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ have become the highest grossers of the year back-to-back.
Khan is currently on a roll again as ‘Jawan’ has now surpassed Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’. It was previously the second highest grosser of 2023. According to Bollywood Hungama, ‘Jawan’ has collected Rs.696 Crore within nine days, whereas ‘Gadar 2’ has collected Rs.679 Crore worldwide within thirty-five days.
Now, various trade analysts like Ramesh Bala and Karan Taurani predicted that with this speed, ‘Jawan’ can join the 1000 Crore club anyday. Bala believes that with the South market, it can easily collect Rs.750 Crore within the third weekend of its release.
Overall, ‘Jawan’ seems like a major success and it could become one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time.
