Shah Rukh Khan celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi at his home every year and this year was no exception. He took to his social media to announce the arrival of Lord Ganesha at his residence. He wrote, “Ganpatiji welcomed home by lil one and me….The modaks after were delicious… The learning is, through hard work, perseverance and faith in God, you can live your dreams. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all.” The picture showed a glimpse of him and his son Abram.
The comment section was filled with wishes from fans. However Islamist groups attacked him for celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. “Till when will you upset Allah just for the sake of making others happy? You have already earned a lot from them. Giving respect to them is one thing. What you are doing now is called Shirk.”, wrote an user. This is for the fifth year in a row when SRK has been attacked for celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he is busy with ‘Pathaan’ and will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, co-starring Taapsee Pannu, and in Atlee’s ‘Jawan’.
