Samantha Ruthu Prabhu, who has recently recovered from her injury is now fully back to work. The actress, who was last seen in the female-led thriller ‘Yashoda’ (2022), is all set to entertain this year, where she will be seen in the film ‘Khushi’, pairing her with Vijay Deverakonda for the first time, and the actress is currently shooting on Amazon Prime Video ‘s show ‘Citadel’ directed by Raj and DK, show also stars Varun Dhawan, and also she is gearing up for the release of her next pan India magnum opus film ‘Shaakuntalam’.
Talking about the film ‘Shaakuntalam’, the film has been in news for many reasons, one of the main highlights of which was that South star Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha, will be making her big screen debut with the film.
The latest buzz is that the film has been postponed yet again!
Yes you heard it right, ‘Shaakuntalam’, which was earlier planned to hit the theatres on November 4, 2022 was pushed ahead of its announced date and later it was announced that the film will now release on February 17, 2023 in Hindi and Tamil and later to be released in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
But the film has been postponed yet again and the makers have just announced that the much-awaited film will now release worldwide on April 14, 2023, in all Indian languages.
‘Shaakuntalam’ is directed by director Gunasekhar and the film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role. Regarding the other cast of the film, it has an ensemble cast of Dev Mohan, Sachin Khedkar, Kabir Bedi, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sen Gupta, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla.
