‘Sex And The City’ (1998-2004) star Chris Noth, who played the role of Sarah Jessica Parker’s husband, Mr. Big, has recently been accused of sexual assault allegations by two women named Zoe and Lily. The two women accused the 67-year-old actor for attempting rape on them. Though Noth has denied the allegations and said to the Hollywood Reporter that the incidents from 2004 and 2015 were totally consensual.
Chris Noth had recently signed for A3 Artists Agency and after these allegations the company has backed off and denied to sign him further and they parted ways.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Zoe told on Thursday, December 16 that when the incident happened with her in 2004, she was 22 and had recently moved to Los Angeles and started working as an intern in the industry, where Chris Noth and many other celebrities used to regularly conduct business. She claimed that Noth used to come to her and flirt with her but she used to feel odd with his behaviour as he is much older than her. She further says that one day Noth invited her to his apartment in West Hollywood and there he attempted rape on her.
The other woman Lily, who was 25 years old at that time in 2015, she says to the Hollywood Reporter that Noth had asked her out for dinner at ll Cantinori restaurant, which was featured in the ‘Sex And The City’ movie and then he invited her to his Greenwich Village apartment late that night and there he attempted rape on her.
Regarding this allegations, Chris Noth repeatedly denied it. He said, “It is difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this that I did not assault these women.” It’s been reported that the Los Angeles police department is looking into this matter currently.
