‘Scream’ has been thrilling and scaring the audiences for past 26 years now since the first part released in 1996. Now, after a long gap for about a decade since ‘Scream 4’ was released in 2011, ‘Scream 5’ has recently released on January 14 in cinemas. The film is currently ruling the box office and shattering all its previous records.
The plot of ‘Scream’ revolves around mysterious murders, the appearance of ghost face, some thrilling sequences, finding the killer and his connection with the victims and his motive. The fifth part of the franchise is no different. It’s also filled with unexpected murders and finding clues with action-packed climax.
‘Scream 5’ stars David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Neva Campbell, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Jack Quaid, Mikey Madison, Kyle Gallner and is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The film is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Project X Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
‘Scream 5’ has got off with an excellent debut at the box office. It has already earned $13.5 million on its opening day. The film is the second biggest film of Paramount Pictures to earn this big on opening day, after ‘A Quiet Place 2’, which had earned $19 million on its opening day last year in this pandemic. Seems like ‘Scream 5’ will be lucky enough for the makers in this new year.
