Samir Karnik’s new film will reunite ’90s iconic stars, Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty. Esha Gupta, Zayed Khan, Saurabh Shukla and Jaaveed Jaaferi will also be featured in the film. According to sources it is an out-and-out comedy set in North India and will be produced by Viacom 18. Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty will have a Punjabi look as per the source while other characters’ appearances aren’t decided. The film is shot in Punjab and pre-production work is in progress.
Sanjay Dutt is all set for the release of his three big-budget films ‘Prithviraj’, ‘KGF 2’ and ‘Shamshera’ and Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Toolsidas Junior’. He is also the co-producer of this Samir Karnik project. Suniel on the other hand has been doing a lot of South Indian films and is gearing for Bollywood movies now.
The duo has earlier worked in films like ‘Kaante’ (2002) and ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ (2007). They will work together in this movie after 12 years. It is expected that the movie will be wrapped up by summer 2022.
