Salman Khan, who is currently busy promoting his Eid release film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, recently disclosed during a media engagement that he was in talks for ‘Tere Naam 2’ with the late actor and director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last month on March 9, 2023. Satish Kaushik directed Salman Khan in the romantic drama ‘Tere Naam’ (2003), in which the actor essayed role of the obsessive lover Radhe. It is considered as one of the best performances by the actor.
Salman stated that he only heard the one-line idea for ‘Tere Naam’ from Kaushik twenty years back and was certain it would make for a fantastic film. He went on to say that he may make a sequel based on the same concept in the near future.
Satish Kaushik, who passed away recently, will make a prominent appearance in the Farhad Samji directorial ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, which stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill and Vinali Bhatnagar.
