Salman Khan and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been friends for decades. There were speculations that they had some falling out in the past but all rumours were put to rest when Salman announced his collaboration with Bhansali, Inshallah. Now, Bhansali is set to launch his niece Sharmin Segal alongside Jaaved Jaffrey’s son Meezaan and Salman is getting nostalgic about it.
The trailer of Malaal was unveiled on May 18 which has already crossed the 10 million mark and Salman Khan shared a throwback photo with Sharmin from her childhood. Sharing the trailer and the photo, he wrote, “Just like that, it’s time now to see this beautiful little Sharmin bloom on the silver screen in her debut film, Malaal. May this new journey bring you all luck and love.”
Gulshan Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali present Malaal. Directed by Mangesh Hadawle and introducing Sharmin Segal and Meezaan, the film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, will be starring alongside Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Inshallah.
