Mithun Chakraborty, who is at present promoting his son Namashi’s debut film ‘Bad Boy’, recently talked about Salman Khan and how the actor is commonly misunderstood. Salman Khan and Mithun Chakraborty have previously collaborated in films such as ‘Veer’ (2010) and ‘Kick’ (2014). Mithun Chakraborty stated that he believes Salman occasionally acts smart but is generally misunderstood.
“When Salman and I get together, we have a great time and he treats me like an elder brother. There are many secrets between us. Sometimes, he occasionally presents himself as intelligent, but he is unaware of what would happen if I speak. He is a lion-hearted man, but people just misunderstand him,” the veteran said.
Mithun Chakraborty went on to say, “When I first met him, he wasn’t Salman Khan, he was Salim Khan’s son. Salim ji was the one who struggled for me. I remember, once he said ‘You have such charisma on your face, why don’t you become an actor?’ He made numerous attempts to cast me in films. But fate was not on my side at the time.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ (2023) has opened with mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. The actor will next be seen in the Diwali release ‘Tiger 3’ and fans and audiences cannot wait to witness Salman Khan reprise his role as Tiger in the film.
