The last schedule of John Abraham and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Rocky Handsome’ will be shot in Mumbai between September 3 to 5 September, 2015. John and Shruti will shoot their remaining portions in the 3-day schedule. Some action scenes also will be filmed.
The action-thriller was earlier planned to wrap up early this year but director Nishikant Kamat delayed it as he got busy with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam’ which was recently released in theatres.
Produced by John’s JA Entertainment and Sunir Khetrapal’s Azure Entertainment jointly, ‘Rocky Handsome’ is the official remake of the 2010 Korean film ‘The Man from Nowhere’. The film’s story revolves around a man who sets out to take vengeance against drug mafia after they take away an eight-year-old girl, with whom he shares a special bond. The film is said to have some never-seen-before action stunts.
‘Rocky Handsome’ which was earlier planned to release on October 2, 2015, has been reportedly postponed to January 2016.
