Director Bong Joon Ho, who has earned critical acclaim and won an Oscar for his film ‘Parasite’ (2019), is now gearing up for his next big venture. It’s been reported by The Hollywood Reporter, that Robert Pattinson is going to star in this film and Bong Joon Ho will be both writing and directing the film. The yet-to-be-titled sci-fi film will be produced by Warner Bros. and the story is based on author Edward Ashton’s novel ‘Mickey 7’, which is expected to be launched on February 7, 2022.
Apart from ‘Parasite’, Bong Joon Ho is also known for his films such as ‘Barking Dogs Never Bite’ (2000), ‘Memories Of Murder’ (2003), ‘The Host’ (2006) and many more. He has also won three Academy Awards for ‘Parasite’. His two films ‘Okja’ (2017) and ‘Parasite’ had also screened at the Cannes Film Festival and won the prestigious Palma d’Or Award. These two are the first South Korean films to earn this Award.
