Bengali actress Ritabhari Chakraborty started 2023 with a brand new poster release of the film ‘Fatafati’. The poster was appreciated by the audience, especially for how Chakraborty had gone through a physical transformation to fit her role just fine.
The makers have now announced the release date of the film along with a brand new poster. The film will see a big release on May 12. The actress is seen wearing a beautiful silver sequin dress and a mask. Her hair and makeup was kept classy to match the fit. The actress looks surreal in this fit.
‘Fatafati’ is a story of a plus-size model who breaks stereotypes around how a woman’s body should look like. Ritabhari Chakraborty will be seen in the role of a plus-size model. Chakraborty gained twenty-five kilos for her role which also impressed her fans and this proves her dedication to her craft.
‘Fatafati’ is directed by Aritra Mukherjee. Chakraborty will be sharing the screen space opposite Abir Chatterjee for the first time, and popular TV actress Swastika Dutta in a pivotal role. The story and screenplay are by Zinia Sen, dialogues are by Samragnee Bandyopadhyay and the film is produced by Windows. The film is Ritabhari’s second film with Windows after ‘Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti’ (2020).
