The late Om Puri was a versatile actor who excelled in both mainstream and independent films. He was an artist who accurately understood the grammar and craft of acting. In this film, he portrayed the character of Khadak Singh, who lent money to Shyam (Suniel Shetty). But Shyam failed to repay the loan. His track added to the humour quotient as Khadak Singh came at regular interval to demand money and in the end, caused madness.
