Recently Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film ‘Doctor G’ has been released and time and again, the actor has made quite a stir among moviegoers with the unique storyline. He is a rare actor who can pull any odd concepts without any doubt! Whether it’s films dealing with the LGBTQ+ community or in the comedy, crime thriller, romance or action space, Khurrana has never failed to impress us. Rather he made us proud of him for being the exceptional to bring such bizzare topics openly in front of the camera, which are quite taboo in our society.
‘Doctor G’ is a story about Uday Gupta (Ayushmann Khurrana), who finds himself as the lone male student in the gynecology department and his hesitancy leads to chaos, confusion, comedy and eventually, great camaraderie with his female classmates. Although the box office performance of the film was poor and it could barely collect Rs. 19 crores in the first week, it got a lot of critical acclaim.
Yesterday, Ayushmann had a great chat with Dr. Atul Ganatra, where he spilled his secret that he actually wanted to be a doctor in real and hence, ‘Doctor G’ is very special to him. While introducing Dr. Atul Ganatra, who is a senior gynecologist at Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, Khurrana said an inspiring line that, “Real heros are doctors, not actors.”
In the chat show, Ayushmann and Dr. Atul had a fun conversation while recalling some memories of the latter in his early days. Both of them had a chat about how Dr. Atul felt while choosing gynaecology. The actor compared Dr. Atul with cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in gynaecology department After hearing he delivered more than ten thousand babies, both of them had a hearty laugh together.
Dr. Atul Ganatra shared many more fun experiences in his life in the chat show. To know more, visit Ayushmann’s Instagram handle and catch both of them exploring the medical field.
