After having worked together in ‘Pardesi Babu’ (1998), Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty got together to shoot for a TV show, ‘Super Dancer’ recently accompanied by superstar Govinda.
A close source reveals, “The audience had to vote for a special jodi from Bollywood; one they wanted to see on the show. They chose Govinda and Raveena. Both the actors obliged to be part of the show.” The jodi grooved to their super-hit songs, “Kisi Disco Mein Jaye” and “Ek Chumma Tu Mujhko Udhar Dai De”, while the audience cheered.
A source confirms that the two actresses enjoyed each other’s company while shooting for the dance show. “Shilpa referred to Raveena as the ‘new-age Mumtaz’ due to her graceful characteristics. They also went live on social media together. The actors were in high spirits and laughing throughout the evening.”
“We have always been good friends. We had a great time when we shot 19 years ago, and this time around too. It was like a mini reunion. I am looking forward to working with her once again.” says Raveena.
