Ranveer Singh is currently in England to shoot for his much awaited biopic on cricketer ‘Kapil Dev’ and the Indian team’s journey to win the 1983 Prudential Cup. The title of the film is ’83’ and actor has trained hard for his next which is being directed by none other than Kabir Khan.
Kabir’s interest for cricket is well known as he was the one who directed the ‘Hotstar Specials’ series of MS Dhoni and the journey of the CSK team to make a comeback and win the IPL trophy in 2018 in the series, ‘Roar Of The Lions’. Henceforth this being a similar effort on celluloid, a lot is expected from Kabir.
Coincidentally enough, the ICC World Cup 2019 is also happening in England at the same time when ’83’ is being shot there. This means greats of the game who will be in England due to the commetary priorities are already there. One such name is the of the ‘God of Cricket’, Sachin Tendulkar.
Both Tendulkar and Ranveer are in England and the duo caught up to chat on Indian cricket, food, films and about his next movie.
