Actor-director-producer R Madhavan just cannot stop getting excited since his story of Nambi Narayanan, a former Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist and aerospace engineer, known for developing liquid fuel engines getting embroiled in a spy scandal was named ‘Most Popular Indian Movie Of 2022’ by Internet Movie Database (IMDb). Madhavan has received a trophy and certificate as a part of the announcement.
Shot for two years before pandemic, followed by a long wait for its theatrical release Madhavan who had never performed the role of a producer and director didn’t anticipate the love and commercial success the film enjoyed through 2022.
After achieving such title, Madhavan shared, “I’m over the moon. I’m just so overwhelmed by the love Rocketry has received, and now this recognition from IMDb has made this a very special year for all of us.”
