Farhan Akhtar will be back directing his upcoming film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ after a decade. It is a story about a road trip. Farhan has previously entertained us with his road trip films like, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001) and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011).
In the movie, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt will be seen together for the first time. ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is written by Farhan Akhtar and his sister Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Farhan has made his directorial debut 20 years ago with ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna.
Farhan has recently announced the news on Twitter and wrote, “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of ‘Dil Chahta hai’ to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra @KatrinaKaif @aliaa08 will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road.”

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ shoot is set to begin in 2022 and is supposed to release in 2023.
