Director R Balki is known to give unconventional storylines that resonate with the audience. Some of his best projects include ‘ Cheeni Kum’ (2007), ‘Paa’ (2009) and his latest film, ‘Chup – Revenge Of The Artist’ (2022). Changing the dynamics, ‘Chup’ was the only film to be screened to the viewers first before the critics. The film won big at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, which was held recently.

‘Chup – Revenge Of The Artist’ is produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios) and Gauri Shinde. The screenplay and dialogues are co-written by Balki, critic-turned-writer Raja Sen and Rishi Virmani. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt.
